This chart appears on each project's dashboard and provides a snapshot of actual schedule performance against the latest baseline.
The y-axis shows the cumulative percentage complete.
The x-axis shows time, being the project duration and corresponding dates from start to finish.
The x-axis updates automatically to show the most appropriate time scale to display the information.
The red line shows the actual progress.
The grey line shows the planned progress according to the most recent baseline created.
Hovering over any area of the chart will display the date, whether the project is ahead of or behind schedule (as a %), and the actual completion and planned information for the point in time you are viewing.
Accompanying the chart are summary data to give you further insight in to schedule performance, including the below.
Open schedule tasks
How many schedule tasks (and milestones) are open (either in progress or not yet started).
Completed schedule tasks
Schedule tasks and milestones that have been completed. Tasks are registered as complete when they are marked as 100%.
Days behind schedule
Compares your current progress with where the project should have been when compared to the baseline. For example: At today's date you may be 90% complete. Keepsite will check on what date you were, according to the baseline, scheduled to be 90% complete and then subtracts that from today to calculate how many working days the project is behind schedule.
Calculates the difference between the baseline end date and the current forecast schedule end date. The difference between these dates is the number of days the project is forecast to run late. This summary statistic only appears if the project is forecast to run late.
Forecast completion date
This is the date on which the project is forecast to be complete based on actual schedule performance to date.
